My Therapeutic Approach

Seth takes a flexible, client-centered, and neuroscience-informed approach to therapy. He draws primarily from CBT while integrating psychodynamic insights from self-psychology to support self-understanding, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. He is certified in Phase I of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), which helps him understand how stress, trauma, and early experiences shape the brain and nervous system.

Seth has experience in grief, loss, and crisis intervention, including work as a Veterinary Social Work Intern supporting clients through complex and disenfranchised grief. He also works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, religious trauma, and histories of abuse.

He is affirming of queer, gender-fluid, and neurodivergent (AuDHD) clients and strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where people feel understood and empowered. Seth works with adolescents and adults (ages 16+).
