Snow Lake Counseling
Join Our Team
We offer true hybrid flexibility, blending the freedom of remote work with collaborative, in-person days at our welcoming office. We aren't an isolating "room rental" practice; we are a connected team that invests in each other through engaging group supervision, insightful case consultations, and fun, in-person team-building events. We're looking for a collaborative colleague with a fresh perspective and a passion for supporting a diverse clientele. While a sex therapy certification is preferred, being comfortable and affirming when addressing sexuality is essential, as is a genuine desire to contribute to our vibrant team dynamic.
Responsibilities:
Provide psychotherapy for clients seeking to address personal, relational and sexual concerns
Maintain availability of 30+ hours a week with the expectation of keeping a caseload of at least 25 clients a week
Coordinate basic intake and billing paperwork for clientele and provide clients with accurate procedural information
Update clinical records, progress notes, formulate DSM 5 diagnoses and create individualized treatment plans
Basic scheduling for recurring appointments
Complete progress notes, diagnosis and treatment plans within 24 hours of the client session.
Respond to client inquiries, emails and phone calls within 24 hours
Consult, collaborate and coordinate care with other providers and psychiatrists when appropriate
Track and meet requirements to keep professional license active
Attend networking opportunities on a monthly basis until your desired caseload is reached.

Eligible to practice independently or under the supervision of a LCPC in the state of Illinois
At least 1 year of experience in providing relationship/couples therapy in a clinical setting
Strong foundational training in treating relational concerns using a trauma-informed lens
Candidates must be available for at least two weeknights and one weekend day. Preference is given to those who can offer in-person availability for the weekend shift. We are also open to a fully remote clinician if it is a strong fit and you are open to attending occasional in-person team events.
Experience working with gender expansive and sexually diverse individuals, including but not limited to the LGBTQIIA+, Polyam/CNM and BDSM/kink communities
Basic computer skills and general comfort using technology. We use Google Docs and SimplePractice
Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet work-from-home environment for virtual days
Must be open to getting dual licensed in Wisconsin and Illinois
Formal training in sex therapy, current AASECT Certification, or currently pursuing AASECT Certification.
